Design and strength analysis of the chassis structure of an autonomous vehicle, determining the optimal path through difficult terrain

The purpose of the project was to design, perform strength analysis and assembly a prototype model of a vehicle. The developed chassis is intended for the future expansion of the project by providing an automated system that determines the optimal path through difficult terrain. As part of the main goal of the project, a numer of specific goals were achieved. Proper electronics components were selected and the electric scheme was made on their basis. Then using the SolidWorks program, the chassis parts were designed and strength analysis was conducted for the whole assembly. The developed parts were printed using the 3D printing technique. The final steps were to assemble the model and to implement a remote vehicle control by using the Bluetooth technology. Created prototype was also tested, confirming the correctness of its structure.
